What anonymous means here, concretely

No registration form exists. The checkout takes a plan and a payment and nothing else. The login key that lets you come back is a random 32-character string generated on our side; it is not derived from anything about you.

We keep no access logs on the web server, we set no cookies for visitors who are just browsing, and the whole shop, including checkout, works with JavaScript turned off. The site is also reachable over Tor and I2P for people who would rather not show us an IP address at all.

The honest limits

An eSIM is a SIM. When it connects, the local carrier sees a device identifier and a rough location, as it does for every phone on its network; that is how mobile networks work and no eSIM seller can change it. What we control is our side: there is no name, email or document on file to hand over, and the payment can be in a coin that does not identify you either.

If you pay by card, the card network knows about the payment. Pay in Monero if that matters to you.

Why the account exists at all

There is no sign-up. You pay, the eSIM appears with its QR code and manual codes, and an anonymous login key is created for you and printed in the PDF. That key is the whole account: no email, no name, no phone number, no document, and nothing to reset.

It exists so you can check usage, top up, or download the PDF again. If you never need those, you never need the key.

Is an anonymous eSIM legal?

Buying prepaid data without registration is legal in most of the world. Some countries require carriers to register local SIMs; a travel eSIM sold abroad is not subject to that registration. You are responsible for the laws where you use it.

Does the eSIM hide my identity from the network?

No eSIM can. The carrier sees your device on its network. What SimBear guarantees is that there is no identity attached on our side and no personal data to leak or hand over.

Do you keep logs?

No web access logs, no last-seen timestamps, and no browsing cookies. We store what is needed to deliver and support the eSIM: the plan, the payment, and the profile identifiers.

Can I use it over Tor?
